A Psalm written by Peter
The following writing was recently composed by Peter Dale, with reference to Psalm 119.
Your love is more valuable than gold,
Thankfully it can never be sold.
I’m sorry I’m not like your son,
But my life has only just begun.
You died on the cross so I could live,
Now it’s my turn to forgive.
Thanks for showing me great care,
And when you act it’s always fair.
I’m sorry for my sinful ways,
‘Tho’ when I’m good it always pays.
I know I have been far from you,
Thanks for not deserting me too.
I wish I were more loyal in obeying your demands,
Then I wouldn’t be ashamed when I study your commands.
Thank you for your unfailing love,
Which comes down on me like a dove.
Make me strong as you have promised,
Don’t let me be dishonest.
You have a plan just for me,
Which I would do if I could see.
